Project Flo 2018 Complete!

June 25 – June 29, 2018

Project Flo 2018 is now come and gone. We couldn’t do it without our wonderful volunteers and contributors. Over 60 different volunteers at three locations made this our best year on record!

This year Project Flo workers completed the following:

  1.     Project 1 –  Fredericksburg, Iowa
  • Prepped and painted the entire exterior and interior of house and garage with paint donated by Sherwin Williams
  • Repaired walls
  • Installed 13 windows and front door
  • Removed old porch and built a new one
  • Landscaping
  • Removed chimney and installed ceiling fan
  1. Project 2 –  Fredericksburg, Iowa
  • Removed shingles, and install a new roof with shingles donated by Owens Corning
  • Installed insulation in the garage
  1.      Project 3 –  New Hampton, Iowa
  • Removed shingles, and install a new roof with shingles donated by Owens Corning
  • Removed trees
  • Removed chimney
  • Installed garage door
  • Installed 1 window
  • Cleaned back room and garage
  1.  Additional work for the following:
    1. Holy Family Parish and School: moving furniture.
    2. Runion Park: Painting shelter and equipment.
    3. Peace Church Fredericksburg, Iowa: Paint basement walls.
